Since 2001, Media Democracy Day has provided a place for citizens, activists, media artists, innovators, policy makers, students, and academics. Together, they have come to engage in a dynamic dialogue on the importance of creating a participatory, democratic media system that works in the interest of people.
This year’s event coverage is done by SFU’s On The Hill. This premium news network is based out of Simon Fraser University’s School of Communication department. Please check out the various panel coverages, interview stations, and Media Fair promenade.
