This year’s Media Democracy Day took place on November 6th, 2010. For full uncut coverage of the panels, check out our video archive of the sessions and keynotes. We also have interviews with various attendants and spotlights on the organizations involved.
Since 2001, Media Democracy Day has provided a place for citizens, activists, media artists, innovators, policy makers, students, and academics. Together, they have come to engage in a dynamic dialogue on the importance of creating a participatory, democratic media system that works in the interest of people.

Hello, the website link does not work, and when I google, it seems that none of the articles about this event give the fee to attend. Any ideas?
Sorry for the delay in this message, this is the 2010 page. The new updated page created by SFU’s students is @ http://pages.cmns.sfu.ca/mdd2011/
Also the official MDD website is: http://mediademocracyday.org/ All the information is available there.
All of the were free to attend, some required registration as seating is limited. The event took place from Nov. 11th-13th.
Hope this helps!
