Dramatic Growth of Open Access: Dec. 11, 2010 Early Year-End Edition

The Dec. 11, 2010 Early Year-End Edition of Dramatic Growth of Open Access is now available on The Imaginary Journal of Poetic Economics.

Highlights:
More than 5,800 journals listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (growing by about 4 titles per day, a growing growth rate)
More than 7,500 journals worldwide use Open Journal Systems
Over 1,000 journals participate voluntarily in PubMedCentral; more than half provide open access to all articles
OA mandates continue to lead in percentage growth
