Michael Felczak is a PhD candidate at SFU’s School of Communication whose research interests span culture, communication, and technology. He has recently published and presented work on the politics of network neutrality, social diversity and technology, pedagogy and wikis, communication rights and policy, scholarly communication, and the practices of free/open source software.

Michael is also the online editor at the Canadian Journal of Communication, serves on the board of the Vancouver Community Network, and is a researcher and developer at the Public Knowledge Project.
